Renowned as Java's longest trekking trail, this route offers a diverse mix of savannas, dense rainforest, vast valleys, serene lakes, and iconic mountain peaks.

Starting from Baderan (Situbondo) and finishing at Bremi (Probolinggo), this journey is ideal for adventurous hikers, groups, and nature enthusiasts looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. You’ll summit two of Argopuro’s iconic peaks—Rengganis and Argopuro itself—while enjoying remote campsites at scenic spots like Cikasur and Taman Hidup.

Led by experienced guides and supported by local porters, this all-inclusive package covers everything from permits and camping gear to meals and transfers from Surabaya. All you need to bring is your spirit of adventure.

Notes

  • The 4D3N Argopuro trek is beginner-friendly with good physical fitness. The trail is long but not technically difficult. We provide professional guides and porters to support your journey.
  • The best season is during the dry season from April to November. We don’t recommend trekking during heavy rain season (December–March) due to slippery and muddy trails.
  • We provide round-trip transportation from Surabaya. You’ll be picked up from your preferred location (hotel, airport, or train station) and dropped off at the same or another designated place in Surabaya after the trek.
  • Mount Argopuro is considered Java’s longest trekking route with diverse landscapes—savannas, forests, rivers, and lakes. It’s not as steep as Semeru or Rinjani, but it demands endurance over multiple days.
  • We encourage you to bring your own trusted gear, especially shoes, clothing, and trekking poles. We provide all shared camping gear (tents, mats, cooking set, toilet tent, etc.).
  • We assign the number of porters based on your group size. Usually, it’s 1 guide per 5 trekkers and porters to carry all group logistics. You can request a personal porter for your belongings (extra cost applies).
  • We provide a toilet tent at every campsite for your convenience. There are no permanent toilets in the forest.
  • If you have large luggage or items you don't need during the trek, we’ll keep them safely stored and return them to you after the hike.
  • During trek: You'll sleep in tents with mattress, sleeping bags, and lights at designated campsites.
  • We can cater to basic dietary requests like vegetarian, no spicy, or no meat. Please inform us in advance so our team can prepare accordingly.
