Details

Take on one of the most thrilling volcano treks in Indonesia with this 3-day, 2-night Mount Raung expedition via Kalibaru. Towering at 3,344 meters, Mount Raung is not just one of the most active volcanoes in East Java—it’s also one of the most demanding and rewarding to conquer. This route is perfect for seasoned hikers looking for an intense, technical, and unforgettable climb through wild landscapes, narrow ridgelines, and panoramic crater views.

Your journey begins in Surabaya, where you'll board a scenic train ride through lush countryside to the highland town of Kalibaru.
